TrizEDTA flushes are made with a tromethamine and
ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) buffer solution. This combination
of ingredients provides bactericidal action to help prevent development
of otitis externa. TrizEDTA has a pH of 8 (TrizEDTA Crystals Red requires
reconstitution with distilled water as directed to achieve this pH).
Active Ingredients: Tromethamine (Tris) USP, Edetate Disodium Dihydrate
(EDTA) USP, buffered to pH 8 with Tromethamine HCl and deionized water.
Does not contain preservatives.
Warnings:
Keep TrizEDTA products out of reach of children and
animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.
TrizEDTA Aqueous Blue and TrizEDTA Crystals Red are
only for use on cats and dogs. Do not apply to other species. Not for
human use.
For topical use only.
Use as advised by your veterinarian.
CAUTION: Avoid contact with eyes. If
product gets in your pet's eyes, flush with clean water and contact
your veterinarian if irritation does not quickly clear up.
If ear or skin irritation develops with use of TrizEDTA,
discontinue application and consult your veterinarian.
Use of TrizEDTA when a yeast infection is present
in the ear may result in overgrowth of the yeast. Consult your veterinarian
if your pet's condition worsens or does not improve when treating
otitis externa.
Discard unused TrizEDTA Crystals Red 21 days after
reconstituting.
