I HATE buying pills for dogs, because it is SOOOO expensive. I have two, and between the Vet & the meds, it's literally Hundreds of dollars every year just for Heartworm meds. The Tri-Heart Plus pills were cheaper than the other brands, but they're still wildly overpriced (I can get just about any human medicine for wildly less money, including prescriptions).
These were way bigger than expected, too. The other brand has pills about the size of an aspirin, and these are huge (5+ aspirin size). My dogs don't like them, so I have to crush them up in food. This took me all day to get her to eat enough food to finish off this one pill. Given the size of the dogs these are meant for, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to consider pill size as a logical factor in making the meds. She sure as heck isn't going to swallow these, and if she doesn't think of them as a treat, she's not gonna just chew it up, either. My dogs hated it, and spit out everything she tasted it on - Repeatedly. Smaller pills means less to force feed her. Tri-Heart -consider reducing the size of the pills. This is an unnecessary headache.

Tired of playing prescription games with my old vet. Our new vet gave us a prescription with a refill and recommended this product as the cheapest. I jumped on the opportunity to order 2 years worth at this price and avoid future frustrations. The dog took the pill like a treat and loved it.
