Use Synovex only as directed by your veterinarian.
For subcutaneous ear implantation only.
Read all directions and package inserts before implanting.
Directions:
- Wash your hands with soap and water before implantation.
Use only sterilized instruments.
- Read and follow approved implantation technique described
in the package insert.
- Restrain animals using appropriate restraint mechanism.
- Sterilize the site intended for implantation.
- Implant the complete contents of one cartridge cell
into each animal.
- Administer implant to the ear only. Administering
elsewhere is a violation of federal law.
Frequency of Use:
Re-implant Synovex S at 70 days.
Storage:
Store Synovex at controlled room temperature, between
59 and 86 degrees F., and away from excessive humidity and heat. Keep
out of reach of children.
It is a violation of Federal
Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Warnings:
Keep Synovex out of reach of children and animals.
Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.
Synovex S is for use in steers only. Not for use
in veal calves or other animals. Not for humans. Synovex C is
for use in calves only. Not for use in bull calves intended for reproduction,
in veal calves, or in calves less than 45 days old. Synovex H is for
use in heifers only. Not for use in veal calves, dairy or beef replacement
heifers, or humans.
CAUTION: A withdrawal period has not
been established for Synovex C in pre-ruminating calves.
Synovex S may cause rectal prolapse, bulling, elevated
tailheads, and ventral edema.
Synovex C may cause vaginal and rectal prolapse,
ventral edema, udder development, and elevated tailheads.
Synovex H may cause udder development, rectal and
vaginal prolapse, ventral edema, and elevated tailheads.
Do not use Synovex in animals with a known allergy
to it or to similar medications.
