Sulfasalazine 500 mg, 100 Tablets is the generic form of the antibiotic Azulfidine and is most commonly used to treat inflammatory bowel disease and colitis in cats and dogs. <p>this medicine was the only thing that helpd my labs skin problems plus her inflamitory bowel problems and it even took care of the ear probems like yeast or red inflamed inner ear. She is a more comfortable dog being herself wihout all the head shakes and rubbing her but on the ground after she did her business. after about a week i saw a great improvement when she started the sulfasalzine.</p>

My vet gave me a script for this to treat my cat's inflammatory bowel symptoms. After one month of treatment, there's a big improvement. My vet is also pleased with her progress.
