Strongid T is an oral wormer. It eliminates large and small strongyles, large roundworms, and pinworms. The palatable suspension may be fed directly with an oral syringe, added to the animal's feed, or administered as a drench. It kills adult intestinal worms, but not immature forms, necessitating a regular treatment regimen.

Strongid T removes a variety of intestinal parasites from horses and ponies. It is effective against large strongyles, small strongyles, large roundworms, and pinworms. This highly palatable deworming product is well tolerated and safe for all ages.

  • Prevents complications from untreated intestinal parasites
  • Highly palatable product for ready acceptance
  • Easily administered directly, mixed with feed, or as a drench

  • Safe for pregnant and nursing animals, as well as those used for breeding

Follow all instructions and heed all precautionary statements found on the product label.

Use exactly as prescribed by your veterinarian.

Directions:

  1. Shake well and stir before every use. Strongid T is a liquid suspension, meaning its parts will separate. They must be thoroughly rejoined for proper dosing.
  2. Administer 3 mg pyrantel pamoate per pound of body weight (6 mL Strongid T per 100 lbs. of body weight).
  3. For direct administration, position an oral syringe over the back of the horse or pony's tongue and depress the plunger. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight during dosing or administration.
  4. For administration with feed, pour the appropriate dose over a normal grain meal.
  5. For administration as a drench, mix measured dose with the desired quantity of water. Protect the drench from direct sunlight and administer it immediately with a stomach tube.

Frequency of Use:

It is recommended that foals be treated every 4 weeks between the ages of 2 and 8 months. Pregnant mares should be treated 1 month before the expected foaling date and again 10 to 14 days after giving birth. Administer Strongid T once every 6 weeks to horses and ponies over the age of 8 months.

Storage:

Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Store Strongid T at room temperature below 86 degrees F. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

Do not store product diluted for use as a drench. Use immediately.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
