Great additional aid in tick prevention. Ordering from Vet Depot was cheaper and so much more convenient!
Preventic Collar for Dogs
We have tried other collars and have not found one as effective as the Preventic.
Preventic Collar for Dogs, 25 inch
On My vets recommendation this collar is used along with front line plus for large dogs. I live in a very high tick populated area basically in the woods. Where he swims almost daily collar is a plus as it it waterproof. Harley has had Lyme disease as well so anything that helps him stay healthy is my responsibility. Collar works well. Was on back order but was shipped as soon as it was available . Cost is lower than other online stores.
Problem solver
I had a horrible time with ticks. I have neighbors who don't allow their dogs inside and they constantly have ticks. I had tried everything to keep my dogs tick free. My vet suggested the Preventic collars. I bought the first ones from them and they worked. I have been buying them for several years now and I don't use anything else. The price from Vet Depot is quite a bit less than what I paid at the Vet's office and I received good service. Thank you

My vet recommended switching to this for tick prevention since the other flea/tick treatment wasn't working that great for ticks. We live in a pretty wooded area and ticks are quite common, even on humans. My two dogs have been wearing this since November, 2011, and they are now on their second collars with not a single tick since then. I think it works great. Neither dog has had any skin allergy or reaction to the collar and I will continue to use this for tick prevention. But now I have to switch to another type of flea prevention and my vet recommended going with Trifexis. I start on that March 1, so we'll see how the combination works.
