Absolutely awesome canister filter! I researched canister filters exhaustively "literally" and found eheim's 2217 to receiving rave reviews all over the internet in all aquarium circles,. Mine works flawlessly. German engineering and quality holds true for this model, its a true work of art in canister filters. After buying my eheim 2217, I wouldn't own any other brand canister filter. My order was shipped incredibly fast, very friendly customer service people that showed me that they genuinely care about their customers needs and satisfaction.

I purchased this Ehiem canister filter 2217 a while ago for my 125 gallon tank but have not had a chance to set it up yet. I currently have a Ehiem Classic 2215 at home for my 40 gallon breeder and it has worked well for the past year in my red eared slider tank. This turtle is really dirty even though I take her out to feed her every day. So, I am hoping that with both the 2215 and the 2217 in my 125 gallon tank it will do the job. Ehiem Classics seem to be very sturdy with little sound or trouble. I will update you later once I set it up.



I do have to say that I was very pleased with the order process at VetDepot. This is the first time I have used this company and the order not only went smoothy, but I can't believe how fast they shipped with no extra charge. I had the filter within two days. I would definitely use this company again.
