Surolan Otic Suspension, 30 mL combines polymyxin B, miconazole, and prednisolone together to treat ear infections (otitis externa) and dermatitis in dogs. Surolan petmeds are effective against infections caused by yeast, fungi, and gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It also soothes itching and treats ear mite infestations.

No more ear infections!
My 11 year old black lab has always had a black gooey fungus in her hears. Her ears would fill up with this stuff and regular cleaning did not help at all. I just thought it was something I would have to deal with forever. So one year when she was her shots I asked the vet and he perscribed these drops to be used every other day and a cleanser for the other days. I can always tell when we run out of the Surolan because her ears get so gooey. Then once we start back on the drops the fungus is gone within a couple days.

My Bassett Hound suffered for over a year with a nasty ear infection. Finally our Vet suggested we take a culture to see what medication would work for this infection. Of all the antibiotics tested, Surolan was the only one that showed a resistance to this infection. We have been using it for two months, and the infection is almost non-existent! Just a few drops twice a day, and our Bassett is no longer suffering! I would recommend trying it for any stubborn infection that you may be dealing with.
