I have a very old dog (14.5 years) and have relied on Dasuquin to improve his mobility in his senior years. No product even comes close to Dasuquin! I highly recommend the product in soft chew form, as it is pleasing to most dogs (like a treat). However, as my boy has aged further, becoming unable to chew even these, I have reverted to the same formula in tablet form, also made by Dasuquin. While the tablets are chewable too, they are not as appealing to most dogs as the soft chews (they look like another big pill, even though liver flavored). However, I usually just give it to him as I do the rest of his pills--by throwing it in the back of his mouth and waiting till he swallows. (He always does...good pill taker!) Whatever way you can get your dog to take Dasuquin, do it-- he or she will enjoy mobility for much longer than other dogs who aren't on this supplement. I see great improvement with my 11 yr old Lab that had both knees done with a TLPO procedure surgery. She will even occasionally run. She seems less stiff and sore.

My dog has had surgery on both elbows and lives with a lot of pain every day, but Dasuquin really does work and is a wonderful product! It is not easy to find this product in the stores around me, so I bought it online from Vet Depot and I must admit that the price was the best I could find and Vet Depot shipped it to me fast so my dog never missed a dose! And even better, my dog loves the taste of their product so it has never been an issue feeding her daily doses of it!

I was so happy to find these online at roughly 1/2 the cost of my dog's clinic. My 7 year old lab 90 pound lab was thought to have a meniscus tear, limping and not bearing full weight on her back leg. This had been going on for about 3 weeks. She already had a TPLO on this leg too. Her surgeon did not feel there was any problem related to the TPLO. I started a double dose of the Dasuquin and after 3 weeks my dog is now bearing full weight on the back leg and has no limping. I am going to continue the double dose.
