After diagnosing my cat "Mouse" with hyperthyroidism, the vet sold me felimazole- the cost? About $20 for 20 pills! And fortunately for me- Mouse is the easiest cat in the world to pill!
Customer Service
I can't review a prescription drug for my cat. The best I can offer to you is that she has gained weight and the vet is happy about that. But I can't get Luna to take her meds two times a day - she won't get near me since I tried, and failed, and tried and failed again, and tried a 3rd time with success, to pill her. I can't hide it in her food, in a name brand pill pocket or in cheese.
What I can offer as a review is the STELLAR customer service VetDepot has offered so far. They sent me an email to let me know they hadn't reached my vet's office, and replied very quickly, when I responded that I ordered before I got the OK from the vet to do so. The email I received was from a live person and very courteous (a RARITY these days). They worked with the vet to get me the prescription very quickly for my cat.
Now to find a way to get her to take her medicine. I don't suppose anyone out there has luck getting the cat to sing "Just a Spoonful of Sugar", huh?
