My dog has seasonal allergies to pollen. This shampoo treats and protects the symptomatic skin on my dog. When he was diagnosed correctly his skin was in rough shape but this shampoo (along with the meds to treat his secondary infection) quickly healed the skin and provided relief. Now I know the symptoms to look for - itchy skin, flaky skin, hair easily falling out - and will immediately use the shampoo often to soothe, relieve, and control the skin allergies. After lathering it is advised in the directions to let shampoo sit on the skin before rinsing. I find (and was advised by my vet) that letting it stand for 10 mintues before rinsing gives the most effective results. In fact, when it is time to bathe my dog out of allergy season this is the only shampoo I use.

I didn't get a chance to try it yet. I sold it to a client that has a dog that needed very much. I'll have to buy another bottle. But I found out from my client that his vet already sold him a bottle. He has been using it and I noticed a big improvement. His dog's hair is starting to grow back and I only saw a tiny bit of scabbing compared to when I saw his dog the last time. I highly recommend this shampoo.

I have been using this shampoo for about 3 years now. It is the only one that keeps my Sharpeis skin problems under control. Highly recommend. Even though it is expensive, it is worth every penny. Vet Depot sells the 16 oz size for what my vet charges for the 8 oz at his office!

I use this shampoo for weekly baths and also as a daily cleaner (in diluted form) for my bed-ridden senior dog. Controlling skin irritation and infection is critical for her, and we've been very pleased with this shampoo. It seems to do a wonderful job of controlling bacteria and yeast growth, without irritating her skin. It also manages odors very effectively. My only complaint is that the red coloring in the shampoo turns my white dog's fur pink. This is only cosmetic, though, and has no impact on her health or comfort, which is all we really care about.

My retired mare is newly turned out 24/7 and being exposed to the elements had developed a nice case of rain rot. My vet gave me a bottle of PhytoVet CK Antiseptic Shampoo which quickly cleared up the situation. I purchased two more bottles from Vet Depot just to have on hand for future outbreaks.

This shampoo works very well on my dog's skin problems as long as I use it regularly.

Works really well and is gentle on the dogs skin. After bathing every other day for 6 baths the skin issue was resolved!

This is a terrific shampoo for my little sweetie. She has allergies and., This has helped her skin issues better than anything I have used on her. Would not use anything else on her.
