I recently started the viokase-v on my older dog who had abdominal pain and was loosing weight. She tested positive for pancreatitis. The vet suggested this product. After 2 weeks, she has gained weight and the abdominal pains have subsided. VetDepot has been very cooperative in getting this medicine to me quickly, even at a temporary out of town address.

This product is wonderful, my dog has gone back to normal and I think Viokase has a different taste as well, but I also believe that is very important to find the best way to offer the medication because not all dogs accept it over the food. I make little meat balls with can food and enclose it in salami and give it to him before he starts his food and it is working very well for him. It is a matter of knowing your dog and the product and I recomend this one.
