Our vet recommended Rimadyl for one of our German Shepherds whose hips are starting to give him some trouble. It seems to give him some relief. I was happy to find that VetDepot carried the product, because it is SO much cheaper than purchasing it at the vet's office.

This medication makes all the difference for my dog's ability to enjoy life. Without it, she hobbles around and holds her right back paw up. As long as she takes her med, she is playful and gets around just fine. We have not noticed any negative side effects.

This NSAID has helped my German Shepherd become more mobile. (I adopted her in 2002 and her approx. age was 1 1/2 - 2 yrs. of age.) She is on 50mg. in the a.m. and 50mg. in the p.m. (1 pill split in half) daily. I notice a tremendous difference in her when she does not take this medication (refusal, waiting on refill, etc.).

We've been giving our 2 older dogs rimadyl for a while....VetDepot makes getting the a large quantity of the chewable kind easy. My vet doesn't carry chewables.

Our Labrador is approaching 12 years of age and experiencing severe arthritis in his front left shoulder. He has been taking a regimen of rimadyl for the past 6 months and has shown greatly improved mobility, less limping, and seems to be having an overall better quality of life experience.
