Warnings:
Keep Safe-Guard packets out of reach of children
and animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.
Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer is only intended for use
in dogs and puppies over 6 weeks of age. Do not use in younger dogs
or other animals. Not for use in humans.
Use as directed by your veterinarian.
Failure to administer the appropriate dose once daily
for 3 consecutive days will prevent successful deworming of dogs.
CAUTION: The same intestinal parasites
that infect your dog can infect or pose health risks to other animals
and humans. Talk to your veterinarian about proper hygiene and other
preventative measures.
Not for use in a sick puppy or dog.
Side effects are rare, but may include emesis or
diarrhea.
Consult your veterinarian before administering any
other drugs or supplements during your dog's treatment with Safe-Guard.
Safe-Guard is only effective against Taenia tapeworm species; if you continue
to see tapeworm segments in your dog's stool after treatment, contact
your veterinarian.
This product is safe for use in pregnant dogs. Consult
your veterinarian if your dog is nursing or intended for breeding.
Seek emergency veterinary care for an allergic reaction.
Some signs include hives, itching, rash, difficulty breathing, facial
swelling, sudden-onset diarrhea, vomiting, and shock.
