    Description

Pain and arthritis medications for dogs

Rimadyl (Carprofen) 75 mg, 30 Caplets is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for dogs that is commonly prescribed by veterinarians to treat pain and inflammation caused by arthritis, hip dysplasia, or other joint abnormalities. It is also used to control pain following soft tissue or orthopedic surgeries.

If your pet is suffering from arthritis pain or some other form of joint pain, aspirin or ibuprofen are not the best options for them. Those medications are not specifically designed for dogs and can be dangerous. Ask your veterinarian about Rimadyl because it is formulated for dogs only and is FDA approved. Relieve pain and restore your dog's mobility and quality of life with Rimadyl 75 mg Caplets.

    Directions

For oral administration, the manufacturer's recommended dose is 2 mg of Rimadyl per 1 lb of bodyweight (4.4 mg/kg) given every 24 hours. However, the dose can be divided and given every 12 hours as 1 mg per 1 lb of bodyweight (2.2 mg/kg). However, always follow your veterinarian's specific instructions for administering Rimadyl to your pet.

Remember, Rimadyl Caplets and Chewable Tablets are for use in dogs only. Do not administer to cats or other animals. Keep out of reach of pets and children.
