    Arthritis treatments for dogs

    Unlike aspirin or ibuprofen, which may be dangerous for dogs, Rimadyl is FDA-approved for canine pain relief. Just one dose works for up to 24 hours. These liver-flavored chewable tablets make administration easy. Even though there is no cure for canine arthritis, Rimadyl 100mg Chewable Tablets help your pet maintain their regular activity levels and quality of life.

    Directions

    For oral administration, the manufacturer's recommended dose is 2 mg of Rimadyl per 1 lb of bodyweight (4.4 mg/kg) given every 24 hours. However, the dose can be divided and given every 12 hours as 1 mg per 1 lb of bodyweight (2.2 mg/kg). However, always follow your veterinarian's specific instructions for administering Rimadyl to your pet.

    Remember, Rimadyl Caplets and Chewable Tablets are for use in dogs only. Do not administer to cats or other animals. Keep out of reach of pets and children.

    The Rimadyl is a great anti-inflammatory for our two Rotties with no side effects. It is extremely helpful financially to be able to have these on hand to use, as needed, and much less expensive than when purchased through our vet.

    My 9 year old lab has hip dysplasia. This med works wonders for him. If we run out of the medicine, he is a completely different dog. Limping, sitting all the time and not wanting to stand. As soon as we get the meds in him, he feels so much better! It is so much cheaper to buy it here than at the vet.
