Proanthozone is for cats and dogs. Proanthozone Derm
is recommended only for dogs. It contains alpha-lipoic acid, which can
be toxic to cats. It does not contain toxic levels, but the effects
of prolonged administration of low doses are not known. Not for other
animals. Not for human consumption.
Use as recommended by your veterinarian.
CAUTION: Proanthozone products are intended
for intermittent use or to supplement inadequate dietary intake or poor
absorption of provided nutrients, and to help with conditions responsive
to their ingredients.
Expect Proanthozone to take 3 to 4 weeks to show
significant results.
Do not use if safety seal is missing or not intact.
In rare instances, temporary diarrhea may result
as a cleansing process in response to the high dose of nutrients in
Proanthozone. Consult your veterinarian about lowering your pet's
dose and slowly building it up to recommended levels.
Signs of an allergic reaction include facial swelling,
rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, seizures, shock, sudden-onset
diarrhea, vomiting, or other symptoms. Seek emergency veterinary treatment.
Tell your veterinarian what drugs or supplements
your pet takes. Consult your veterinarian before administering any new
drugs or supplements to pets on a Proanthozone regimen.
Contact your veterinarian if you know of or suspect
an overdose.
