It is cheaper to order online with VetDepot than from my vet for this medicine. This product is helping my Dalmatian not get urate stones. He's been healthy for 2 years now.
Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry, Chewable Tablets
My dog enjoys taking this supplement. The tablet is like a treat for him. We have had no urinary problems since he has been on this tablet. Shadow, my dog, has other aliments, diabetes and seizures, and this tablet does not interfere with these medications. He has taken the tablets almost 2 years now. VetDepot is cheaper and more affordable to buy this medicine from than my own vet. The delivery is quick. This medicine helps my dalmatian stay healthy and helps him to not develop urate stones.
My pup would not eat the gel potassium gluconate at all.My Vet suggested these. WOW! She now can not wait for Treat time. No matter what the cost if you have to wrestle down your pet to get them to take their meds its not worth it. These are WELL worth the price and I dont have to choke it down her or try to mix it with High fat and sugar treats. Just the pills are her treats! Her Super Chem panel this morning was right up the middle. Can't ask for better than that.
So much better than the granules
We have a Schnauzer and had been giving her the granules to prevent stones. They made such a mess but the tablets are so much more neat. She loves the taste and *fingers crossed* no stones for now.
