Digestive Enzymes for Pancreatic Insufficiency
PancreaPowder Plus is a digestive aid pet med for dogs and cats with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. PancreaPowder Plus contains the enzymes lipase, amylase, and protease in order to aid in the digestion of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins.
The specific dose your pet requires
depends on the severity of the condition and the weight of the animal.
Directions:
- Administer the dose before
meals.
- Give dogs 3/4-1 tsp. of
PancreaPowder Plus. Add the powder to moistened food, either dry or
canned.
- Give cats 1/4-3/4 tsp. of
PancreaPowder Plus. Add the powder to moistened food, either dry or
canned.
- Mix the powder into the
food thoroughly so that all the enzymes come into close contact with
the food.
- Allow the mixture to incubate
for about 20 minutes before serving it to your pet.
Frequency of Use:
Give PancreaPowder daily with meals
as prescribed by your veterinarian. Do not increase or double the dose
of this medication.
Storage:
Store PancreaPowder Plus in its original,
tightly closed container, away from moisture and heat.
It is a violation of Federal Law
to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
PancreaPowder Plus works by replacing
enzymes necessary for the digestion of food. In some animals, these
enzymes are not naturally produced and must be supplemented.
Active Ingredient(s):
Each 2.8 g (1 teaspoonful) contains: Lipase 71,400 USP units, Protease
388,000 USP units, Amylase 460,000 USP units, Vitamin A 1,000 IUs, Vitamin
D3 100 IUs, Vitamin E 10 IUs
Pancreatic enzymes are of porcine origin.

Keep this product out of reach of children
and animals. Do not use or store in or near heat or flames.
PancreaPowder Plus is for use in cats
and dogs only. Not for use in humans or other animals.
CAUTION: Some animals may be
sensitive to PancreaPowder Plus. Discontinue use of this product in
animals with a known or suspected sensitivity.
Consult your veterinarian before using
this product if your pet is allergic to pork or is being treated with
antacids, H2 blockers, or proton pump inhibitors. Also, tell your veterinarian
if your pet is pregnant or lactating.
Symptoms of possible overdose include
diarrhea, high fat content of feces, weight loss, and increased appetite.
Seek emergency veterinary attention for these symptoms.
