Mometamax otic suspension contains gentamicin sulfate,
a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against many gram-positive and
gram-negative bacteria. Mometamax also contains the broad-spectrum antifungal
agent clotrimazole. It treats ear infections caused by a number of dermatophytes
and yeast. Mometasone, the third active ingredient in Mometamax, is
a corticosteroid that inhibits the body's inflammatory response.
Mometamax requires a prescription from your veterinarian.
Mometamax Ingredients (per gm): gentamicin sulfate 3 mg, clotrimazole 10 mg,
mometasone furoate monohydrate 1 mg, in a mineral oil-based system containing
