Product Description:

DermaPet MalAcetic Otic is a unique, all natural, environmentally sensitive solution designed for routine ear cleaning and drying.
• Highly effective against yeast (Malassezia)
• Quick and efficient deodorize
• Excellent dewaxer/degreaser
• SAFE on ruptured eardrums
• Client pleasing peach fragrance
• pH balanced

Contains:
2% Acetic Acid and 2% Boric Acid with surfactants. Available in 2 oz. With a new peach fragrance.

Directions:
Apply liberally to ear, gently but firmly massage the base of the ear, apply cotton ball to remove excess solution. Repeat as necessary. As a maintenance, particularly with a history of chronic infections due to yeast, use once to twice weekly. External skin lesions or wounds: Apply liberally 2 to 3 times daily or as directed by veterinarian.

Precautions:
If undue skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian. Do not use on severely traumatized or irritated skin.

My Treeing Walker had two yeast infections in her ears over the past year with the right being the worst, after 14 days her ears started to heal. She has been on this med since 9/14/2010 along with Mometamax. Her ears are great and her temper has come down now that she is felling better.
