Stop Dog and Cat Bleeding

Kwik-Stop Styptic Powder stops bleeding resulting from nail and beak trimming, tail docking, and minor superficial wounds. It is safe for use on cats, dogs, and caged birds. Kwik-Stop contains a topical anesthetic for pain relief.

Directions:

1. Put product on bleeding site with moistened cotton-tipped applicator.
2. Apply constant moderate pressure with the applicator for 5 to 10 seconds.

Frequency of Use:

Use once on sources of bleeding, per product instructions.

Storage:

Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Store Kwik-Stop at room temperature.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Ferric subsulfate, one of the active ingredients in Kwik-Stop Styptic Powder, causes tissue to contract to stop bleeding. The product also contains benzocaine, a local anesthetic used for topical pain relief.

CAUTION: Use Kwik-Stop in conjunction with pressure bandaging following tail docking.
