When applied topically, Hexa-Caine reduces itching,
pain, and other minor skin irritation on cats and dogs. It eliminates
bacteria to prevent infection and keeps pets from licking or biting
sites of irritation. In addition, Hexa-Caine promotes efficient healing
of the skin.

Lidocaine, one of the active ingredients in Hexa-Caine,
is a topical anesthetic that relieves pain and itchiness. It also provides
the antiseptic action of benzethonium chloride and the natural skin-soothing
properties of aloe vera and lanolin. Hexa-Caine also contains denatonium
benzoate to deter pets from licking and biting affected skin sites.
Hexa-Caine Active Ingredients: Lidocaine HCl 2.46%, benzethonium chloride, allantoin,
denatonium benzoate (Bitrex®), aloe vera, and lanolin in a non-stinging,
non-sticky liquid base with normal skin pH
