Directions

Feed Greenies Pill Pockets in conjunction with the instructions that came with your pet's medication. Do not touch the Pill Pocket with the same hand that held the medicine to avoid transferring the taste and smell. Always make sure your pet has access to fresh water.

Hold the treat with your thumb and forefinger. Using your other hand, insert the tablet, capsule, liquid, or powdered medication. Make sure all of the powder or liquid ends up inside the Pill Pocket.
With the same hand that originally held the Pill Pocket, pinch the top half closed.

These work great for administering pills to your cat although I find that a smaller piece with the pill hidden works better for my finicky boy.

My younger cat, Abi, is hard enough to give meds to, but my older cat, Sabrina, is IMPOSSIBLE. I tried everything. Everything. And she needs daily medication for a thyroid problem. Greenies works SO well. I highly recommended it to anyone with a pet who wont eat pills!

I need all the help I can get to make it easier to feed my cat 2 pills a day to control his hyperthyroid. His pills are small so I only use small pinch of it to form a small round ball around the pill so it goes down easier so he can't spit it up. I still need to place the pill in the back of his throat. He's too smart to be fooled and wouldn't eat it by himself. Only con is the ziplock doesn't stay closed and it drys out so I put them in an air tight jar instead.
