Flea and Tick Treatment and Control Medication for Dogs and Cats

The active ingredients in FRONTLINE PLUS, fipronil and (S)-methoprene, effectively target fleas in all stages. Fipronil provides long-lasting protection against fleas, chewing lice, and ticks by collecting in hair follicles for continuing release onto the coat and skin.

For Use On: Puppies at least 8 weeks old that weigh up to 22 lbs., medium dogs weighing 23-44 lbs., larger dogs weighing 45-88 lbs., and very large dogs weighing 89-132 lbs. Cats & Kittens at least 8 weeks of age and older.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not allow children to apply FRONTLINE PLUS. Read directions and precautionary statements before use.

Directions:

1. Remove FRONTLINE PLUS applicator from package.
2. Point the applicator away from your face and snap the tip open.
3. Use the applicator tip to gently part your dog's hair between the shoulder blades.
4. Place the applicator tip against the skin and squeeze gently until the entire container is empty.
5. Allow treatment area to dry thoroughly before bathing your pet or touching the application site.

Frequency of Use:

Although research shows that FRONTLINE PLUS effectively kills all stages of fleas for as long as three months, severe infestations may require monthly applications. Monthly applications may also be necessary to prevent reinfestation in high-risk cases.

FRONTLINE PLUS kills ticks and chewing lice for a minimum of one month.

Use monthly to eliminate sarcoptic mange infestations.

Storage:

Store in original container and out of reach of children and animals.

Dispose of empty container in trash. Call your local waste agency for instructions of disposing of partly filled or unused product. Do not dispose of partly filled or unused product in drain.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Frontline Plus for Dogs & Cats (Fiproguard Plus)

FRONTLINE PLUS for DOGS & CATS contains two active ingredients that work together to eliminate existing infestations and prevent new ones. Fipronil, a broad-spectrum insecticide, kills fleas, ticks, and mites by disrupting their central nervous system. S-Methoprene works by regulating the growth of eggs and larvae to prevent new infestations.

Active ingredients (DOG): Fipronil: 9.8%, (S)-methoprene: 8.8%

Inactive ingredients: 81.4%

Active ingredients (CAT): Fipronil: 9.8%, (S)-methoprene: 11.8%

Inactive ingredients: 78.4%

Warnings:

Keep this product out of reach of children and animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.

FRONTLINE PLUS is intended for use externally on dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens over 8 weeks of age. Some pets may experience temporary irritation at the application site. Consult a veterinarian if irritation persists for longer than a few days or if symptoms are severe. Also, consult a veterinarian before using this product on older, debilitated, or medicated animals. Individual sensitivities may occur.

CAUTION: This product is harmful if swallowed and may cause significant eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing, and wash hands with soap and water after handling.

If Swallowed: Call your doctor or a poison control center immediately for treatment instructions. Have product label in your possession when calling or seeking treatment. While waiting for medical treatment or advice, sip water if possible. Do not induce vomiting unless instructed to do so by a medical professional. Do not give water or anything else by mouth to an unconscious person.

If in Eyes: Flush affected eye(s) with plenty of clean water. Call your doctor for advice.

If on Skin: Wash skin with soap and clean water. Seek medical attention if skin irritation develops or persists.
