Equine Sleeping Sickness and Influenza Vaccine

Fluvac Innovator 6 protects horses against Eastern, Western, and Venezuelan equine encephalomyelitis (sleeping sickness), equine influenza, and both strains of rhinopneumonitis. It prevents illnesses associated with infection by these viruses and protects against tetanus.

For use by or under the close supervision of a veterinarian.

Directions:

1. Shake well.
2. Use all contents upon opening.
3. Administer 1 mL intramuscularly using aseptic technique.
4. Administer a second 1-mL dose 3 to 4 weeks after the first.
5. Annual boosters of 1 mL are recommended.

Frequency of Use:

Two initial vaccinations are given 3 to 4 weeks apart. It is recommended horses receive boosters once per year thereafter.

Storage:

Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Store Fluvac Innovator 6 in the dark between 35 and 45 degrees F. Protect from freezing.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Fluvac Innovator 6 contains deactivated versions of the viruses it vaccinates against. By introducing the viruses in this controlled manner, a horse's immune system is trained to identify the threats and neutralize them before they trigger illness.

Warnings:

Keep this product out of reach of children and animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.

Fluvac Innovator 6 is only intended for use in healthy horses. Not for use in other species. Do not use in humans.

CAUTION: For intramuscular injection only. Do not inject in any other manner.

Do not administer Fluvac Innovator 6 within 21 days of slaughter.

In the event of an anaphylactic reaction, administer epinephrine.

Do not open packaging until ready to administer the vaccine.

Early boosters are recommended in the event of an outbreak or other conditions in which heavy exposure is a possibility.

Temporary, localized reactions may occur at the site of injection.
