I gave Feliway Pheromone Spray to my father to use with Rescue Remedy on a 1,000 mile car trip with his 10 year old cat. It worked wonderfully and is still working helping the older kitty get used to his new home.
I just purchased another one of these -- because soon I'll be moving with 2 dogs and THREE cats. My cats don't like their carriers, however I have spritzed this inside the carriers for the last couple of days (waited 20 minutes) and let them have access to the crates. One by one the cats are laying in their crates and are very happy. I hope the trip goes was well as it did for Dad. :-) I have every reason to believe it will.
