Pet Skin & Ear Infection Medication

Douxo skin care products are gentle and specially formulated to control a variety of skin conditions on cats and dogs. They are particularly beneficial on types of allergic dermatitis. All provide antipruritic, anti-inflammatory, and antiseborrheic properties and help control the skin's microbial environment and sebum. Some also provide potent antibacterial and antifungal properties. Douxo products are conveniently available as shampoos, sprays, wipes, gels, and other topical solutions for various methods of application and control.

Refer to the product label and your veterinarian for instructions not included below.

Use all Douxo products as directed by your veterinarian.

Douxo Shampoo Directions:

1. Wet the animal well with warm water.
2. Apply sufficient product to create a rich lather over the body.
3. Gently massage shampoo in over the skin and coat.
4. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.
5. Rinse well and repeat if necessary.

Douxo Spray Directions:

1. Brush the animal's hair against the natural lay over affected areas.
2. Hold the spray bottle upright and position its nozzle 12 inches from the skin.
3. Apply 1 spray per 10 lbs. of body weight to affected sites. The product will disperse naturally; do not over-apply.

Douxo Micellar Solution Directions:

1. For otic use, apply a few drops into the ear as recommended by your veterinarian. Gently massage the base of the ear, then wipe away excess product with a cotton ball or other clean material.
2. For other localized use, apply to the affected area with a compress as recommended by your veterinarian.

Frequency of Use:

Shampoo as frequently as recommended by your veterinarian. Apply sprays twice per week or as recommended by your veterinarian for treatment, and once per week for maintenance usage; localized lesions are sometimes treated once daily. Use the micellar solution as often as your veterinarian advises. Apply other Douxo products as frequently as your veterinarian advises.

Storage:

Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Store Douxo products at controlled room temperature.

Shampoo bottles may be stored upside down to facilitate use.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Douxo Maintenance Shampoo Ingredients: Hydrolyzed red algae (Chondrus crispus), collagen, amino acids, minerals in a lathering cleansing and conditioning solution with gentle hypoallergenic bases, green tea fragrance

Douxo Micellar Solution Ingredients: Phytosphingosine salicyloyl 0.02% in hypoallergenic cleansing bases, green tea fragrance

Douxo Seborrhea Micro-Emulsion Spray Ingredients: Phytosphingosine salicyloyl 0.2% in moisturizing and film-forming agents, green tea fragrance

Douxo Chlorhexidine PS Micro-Emulsion Spray Ingredients: Phytosphingosine salicyloyl 0.05%, chlorhexidine 3%

Douxo Calm Micro-Emulsion Spray Ingredients: Phytosphingosine salicyloyl, hinokitiol, raspberry seed oil

Douxo Calm Gel Ingredients: Phytosphingosine salicyloyl, hinokitiol, raspberry seed oil, NDGA (nordihydroguaiaretic acid), vitamin E, moisturizer, Pemulen®, Glycofilm®

Douxo Seborrhea Spot-on Ingredients: phytosphingosine salicyloyl 1%, excipient for diffusion

Douxo Chlorhexidine 3% PS Pads Ingredients: Phytosphingosine salicyloyl 0.05%, climbazole 0.05%, chlorhexidine 3%

Warnings:

Keep Douxo products out of reach of children and animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.

Douxo products are only intended for use on cats and dogs. Do not apply to other species. Not for use on humans.

Douxo products are for external use only. Do not swallow.

CAUTION: Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse eyes well if contact occurs. Consult your veterinarian if irritation persists.

If your pet's condition does not improve or becomes worse, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.

Individual sensitivities may occur. Mention any adverse reactions to your veterinarian.

Ask your veterinarian before concurrently using other topical products.
