Antiseptic lathering solution containing chlorhexidine and phytosphingosine
ANTISEPTIC
Lathering solution formulated with gentle hypoallergenic cleansing bases, phytosphingosine salicyloyl (0.05%), Lipacide® C8G (2.5%) and chlorhexidine (3%).
USES: dogs and cats - to be used in the management of superficial and severe skin conditions that are responsive to chlorhexidine.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: External use only. Wet the animal with warm water and apply DOUXO® Chlorhexidine PS Shampoo extensively on the fur to create a rich lather. Massage the shampoo into the wet hair coat, lather freely. Allow to remain on the hair coat for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with clean water. Repeat if needed.
The veterinarian’s recommendations should be observed.
It is generally recommended to shampoo 2 to 3 times weekly, for 3 to 4 weeks.
CAUTION: Federal law restricts drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. If undue skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE: Do not swallow. Avoid contact with the eyes.
To facilitate the use of the product, bottles can be stored upside down.
