I usually buy CET medium chews to clean my beagle's teeth, and they are a perfect size - not too big or small, and he can polish off the whole chew in one "sitting." I accidentally ordered the Dentahex chews when I needed replacements, instead of CET, and while I have no qualms about the quality, the chews are enormous. They are thick and tough and up to 6 inches in length (varies). Some of them are just too hard and big for my beagle to chew. When I reorder, I will go back to the CET brand.

This product is vet recommended. Its crunchy consistency allows small pieces to break off and be chewed by the pet, assisting digestion and greatly reducing the chance of gagging/choking. Additionally, there are very few additives in the product. These are the only treats that I give to my dogs.
