They help keep horses on their regular schedule for physical activity, and even allow horses with diminished joint function to enjoy increased activity by improving joint health.

Chondro-Flex EQ Alfalfa Pellets and Granules are nutritional supplements intended to maintain and improve joint health in horses. The products, flavored with molasses, relieve pain and inflammation in the joints associated with normal activity, exercise, and joint degeneration.

Chondro-Flex EQ Alfalfa Pellets Directions:

1. Feed 1 1/2 scoops (42 g) daily to horses weighing less than 600 lbs. for 4 to 6 weeks as an initial administration. After this, reduce to 1/2 scoop (14 g) per day for maintenance administration.
2. Feed 2 scoops (56 g) daily to horses weighing 600-1,200 lbs. for 4 to 6 weeks as an initial administration. After this, reduce to 1 scoop (28 g) per day for maintenance administration.
3. Feed 3 scoops (84 g) daily to horses weighing more than 1,200 lbs. for 4 to 6 weeks as an initial administration. After this, reduce to 2 scoops (56 g) per day for maintenance administration.
4. Give this product with or soon after a meal to reduce the likelihood of gastrointestinal upset.

Chondro-Flex EQ Granules Directions:

1. Feed 3 scoops twice daily to horses weighing less than 1,200 lbs. for 4 to 6 weeks as an initial administration. After this, reduce to 2 scoops daily for maintenance administration.
2. Feed 4 scoops twice daily to horses weighing 1,200 lbs. or more for 4 to 6 weeks as an initial administration. After this, reduce to 4 scoops daily for maintenance administration.
3. Give this product with or soon after a meal to reduce the likelihood of gastrointestinal upset.

Frequency of Use:

Chondro-Flex EQ Alfalfa pellets are given once per day. Chondro-Flex EQ Granules are given twice per day during initial administration and once per day during maintenance administration. Talk to your veterinarian about the duration of use.

Storage:

Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Store Chondro-Flex EQ products at controlled room temperature.

The safety of feeding Chondro-Flex EQ products to pregnant horses or those intended for breeding has not been established.

This product may cause an allergic reaction in animals with a hypersensitivity to shellfish. Seek emergency veterinary attention for such a reaction.

Consult your veterinarian before using this product in horses with a clotting disorder or that are taking an anticoagulant medication. Also, consult your veterinarian before use in animals with diabetes or any form of hyperglycemia or a history of stones in the urinary tract.

Horses should undergo a veterinary exam before starting supplementation with a Chondro-Flex EQ product. Consult your veterinarian before administering any other supplements or medications.

If lameness gets worse during use of a Chondro-Flex EQ product, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian.
