    Biotene Veterinarian Antiseptic Oral Gel contains a potent enzyme formula to aid in the treatment of severe oral infections such as stomatitis, gingivitis and periodontal disease. The Three Point Enzyme System used in this product has been proven to be antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral.

    DIRECTIONS: Apply a 1/2” strip to upper and lower gums twice daily for 5-7 days or until infection subsides. For brushless oral care follow up with Biotene Veterinarian - Therapeutic Mouthwash, Drinking Water Additive and Maintenance Oral Gel.

    Ingredients: Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolsate, Glyceryl Polymethacrylate, Sorbitol, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Dextrose, Aloe Vera, Potassium Iodide, Lysozyme, Lactoperoxidase, Lactoferrin, Glucose Oxidase.

    This worked wonders at clearing up an oral gum infection in my Mastiff. It took two weeks of twice daily treatment which used an entire tube but at the end of that time the red gums had turned pink. The maintenance gel works to prevent a recurrence.

    My cat has terrible gum infections. The kitty dentist wanted to take out all his teeth, but restrained when he found out he was only a year old. He suggested I give Biotene gel a try, and I have been using it ever since. It didn't clear up the problem completely but it certainly slowed it down a lot. And he has had to have only two more teeth extracted as a result (he is now six years old). His dentist can't get this product from his supplier anymore so I was very happy to find it at VetDepot at half the price!

    I ordered this for my greyhound which has some serious dental decay (which I heard is very common in greyhounds)! After just a couple of applications, her gums are less swollen and not nearly as red. Still has a ways to go, but this product looks promising. I was skeptical at first because it is a gel and seems like it would wash off, but the results show that it works!

    My cat had gingivitis and I applied the gel and in 5 days it was a big difference in his gums. I love it. He didn't mind the taste or me putting it on his gums. Very easy to use. Seems to have no taste and it doesn't have a smell.
