Bio Case V is a digestive aid for dogs and cats with exocrine pancreatic enzyme insufficiency. The capsule and powder provide supplemental digestive enzymes for animals that do not naturally manufacture enough. Bio Case V contains protease, amylase, and lipase to help your pet properly digest and absorb fats, protein, and carbohydrates.

The following directions represent standard use. Results will vary. Individual animals have differing needs, and some dosing adjustments may be needed to find what works best for your pet.

Directions:

1. Feed your pet a minimum of three meals per day. If possible, opt for more meals of smaller portions.
2. Hand-feed dogs 2-3 capsules right before each meal. Alternatively, mix 3/4-1 tsp. of powder thoroughly into canned or moistened dry food at each meal for dogs.
3. Hand-feed cats 1/2-1 capsule right before each meal. Alternatively, mix 1/4-3/4 tsp. of powder thoroughly into canned or moistened dry food at each meal for cats.
4. Allow food to stand for 15-20 minutes at room temperature once the powder has been mixed in.

Frequency of Use:

Bio Case V is given with every meal on a daily basis.

Keep Bio Case V out of reach of children and animals.

Store this product in its original container, tightly sealed, at room temperature. Protect from moisture and heat.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Animals with exocrine pancreatic enzyme insufficiency do not produce enough protease, amylase, or lipase to effectively digest and absorb fats, protein, and carbohydrates. Bio Case V is an intestinal aid that provides these pancreatic digestive enzymes in supplement form to serve as a replacement therapy. This product includes other key enzymes, including elastase, esterases, nucleases, and peptidases. The enzymes in Bio Case V are derived from pigs.

Bio Case V capsules are sold in 60 and 240 count bottles. Each capsule contains 57,000 USP units protease, 64,000 USP units amylase, and 9,000 USP units lipase. This dosage is sufficient for digestion of 33 g fat, 57 g protein, and 64 g starch.

Bio Case V powder is sold in 12 oz bottles. One teaspoon, or 2.8 g, provides 388,000 USP units protease, 460,000 USP units amylase, and 71,400 USP units lipase.

Warnings:

Keep this product out of reach of children and animals. Do not use or store in or near open flame or heat.

Bio Case V is only intended for dogs and cats with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. Do not give to humans or other animals.

Follow the recommendations of your veterinarian when treating your pet with this product.

CAUTION:

Bio Case V is porcine in origin. Do not give to animals with pork allergies.

Allergic reactions are possible. Typical signs include facial swelling, hives, rash, itching, or others. Consult your veterinarian immediately.

If you know of or suspect an overdose, contact your veterinarian right away. Signs may include fatty stool, diarrhea, or changes to appetite or weight.

Talk to your veterinarian about diarrhea or any other side effects observed with the use of Bio Case V.
